Introduction to Single Signon Interface

The Temenos Transact Canadian Model Bank has an out of box functionality named Member Direct – Internet Banking. This is an interface between a system called Central1 and Temenos Transact for internet banking needs. Central1 hosts the front end and sends the requests to Temenos Transact and Temenos Transact which holds all back office data such as customer, account and card details, responds back with the required data to Central1.

The client equitable has bought Temenos internet banking solution TCIB/Edge connect and so the Central1 hosting is not required here. However, for interact e-transfer type transactions, the interface between Central1 and Temenos Transact is a must.

In order to meet this requirement, a single sign on mechanism is required between all the 3 parties:

• TCIB
• Temenos Transact
• Central1
