Customer Id Validation Check

Banks in Finland will obtain details of the Finnish Social Security Number and Business ID of the customer during the new customer on-boarding process customer and then, this Id structure is validated in Temenos Transact.

  • Social Security Number: In Finland, the Social Security Number (SSN) generated by the Population Register Centre (PRC) is given to all Finnish citizens just after they are born. The Finnish SSN can also be given to foreign persons who are living in Finland either permanently or temporarily (at least a year).
  • Business Id: The Business Id is given to corporate customers by the Finnish Authority (SAT). A newly founded company can get its Business Id as soon as the establishment documentation is registered with the Business Information System.

The SSN/Business ID new local reference field name was introduced as part of this functionality. Once the customer record is created with the SSN/Business ID in Temenos Transact, the user will be able to search those customer records with the respective SSN/Business ID local reference field.
