Introduction to Core Functionality for all Country Modules

The following functionality is available for Finland as part of the Core Functionality for all Country Modules.

HAL Guarantee

This feature product deals with a stand-alone HAL calculation for the state guarantees that are issued by the Finnish government for housing loan or ASP loan product.

The state issues a guarantee which is accepted by the bank. The purpose of the loan will be housing, and if the security is not sufficient, then the ASP loan (housing saving and support scheme) or ASP additional loan can be taken in addition. The state guarantee (HAL) loan amount and the state guarantee (HAL) amount are derived from many factors, for example, the type of product, presence of housing company loan, calculation method selected.

The CMBASE.HAL.CALCULATOR new local application is created, in order to enable the bank user to input the values related to the loan to derive the HAL guarantee values based on the calculation routine. The ID of this application will be an auto generated ID. The record created in this application will be archived as per the archival policies set for other applications.

Some of the values are parameterized in the CMBASE.HAL.PARAMETER application during the computation pertaining to the HAL guarantee. This application has separate parameters for the housing loan, and ASP or ASP additional loan.
