Introduction to Teller Functionality - Blotters and Saudi Specific Reportings

As a mean to safeguard the bank’s floor, limits can be set, managed and monitored in the system through:

• Parameterizing the upper and lower retention limits for branch and vault.
• Capturing the daily cash limit of each branch.
  • The branch includes vault limit, ATM cash and teller cash limit. Moreover, the limit is inclusive of the FCY values converted to LCY. This limit will be compared with the end of day cash position of the branch to determine the days on which the limit is breached or exceeded.

• Availability of Cash Position by Denomination enquiry that displays:
  • The teller cash position of a particular teller currency wise along with the movements that happened during the day, in addition to the respective denominations and units count.
• Availability of Cash Limit enquiry that displays:
  • The closing balance of teller, Vault, ATM and branch along with vault limit and branch limit and the variance on a given date if it is available in the live application.
• Availability of Branch Cash Position enquiry that displays:
  • Closing balance of the branch and if the branch limit is breached, the percentage by which the branch limit is exceeded.
  • Opening and closing balance of the tellers and the ATMs attached to the branch.
  • Current position of cash in vault in different currencies along with its LCY equivalent.

• Availability of Cash Evaluation Enquiry that displays:
  • Cash position of branch, vault, teller and ATM.
  • The upper and lower limits (cash retention limit) of branch and vault.
  • All teller positions with its totals.
  • All branch ATM wise position and their totals.
• Availability of Teller Blotter enquiry that displays:
  • Opening and closing balance along with the excess or shortage of cash on hand with the teller during the run time of the enquiry.
  • Transactions carried out in that teller account during the day.
  • Parameterizing the period for maintaining the end of day cash of each Branch and its Vault for retrieval at a future date.
