Introduction to Activity Restriction and Periodic Attributes
The Activity Restriction Property Class defines the restrictions on AA Activities and Product Qualifier Rules. Activity Restrictions are used to apply restriction rules to transactions activities (For example, on the prepayment of loan amount). The activities in the life of the arrangement are monitored against the rules and breaking of a rule can result in the application of a penalty, override or rejection of the transaction.
It is possible to apply a rule while evaluating a Property (as part of schedule processing of interest or charge). If satisfied or broken, the system waives or applies the Property or an alternate Property accordingly.
The Product qualifier rules defines a rule in an arrangement to arrive at a result, and the result of the rule triggers another Activity on the same arrangement or a linked arrangement.
The system allows restrictions on an Arrangement Activity in full, wherein the Activity cannot be run altogether or prevent it from occurring by restricting it. The Activity that is restricted must be a valid Activity under AA.ACTIVITY.
