Initiating Product Process

This section provides details about the Trickle Feed process and steps to run the data separation and movement processes.

DLM Trickle feed is a two-step process, which involves the following.

• Selection of data – DLM.INITIATE.PROCESS service

  

• Movement of data DL.COPY.PROCESS

  

  

Running Separation Process

To run the separation process, you need to do the following.

Procedure

1. Start and execute the DLM.INITIATE.PROCESS service
2. Create keylist in RO.COPY.KEYLIST
3. Count the entries in F_RO_COPY_KEYLIST. This count should increment as the data is transferred.

Running Movement Process

To run the separation process, you need to do the following.

Procedure

1. Start DL.COPY.PROCESS.
2. Execute the DL.COPY.PROCESS service to move the data from the LIVE to DLM database. This will automatically run the PURGE.PROCESS service.
