Configuring Main Menu

Transact allows you to define various main menus which can be attached to a user profile. These main menus can, in turn, be linked to sub-menus to allow a further breakdown of the main menu items. This section provides the steps to create a new main menu, search and edit an existing main menu.

Creating Main Menu

To create a new main menu,

  1. Login as <<Role>>. From the Transact Standard dashboard’s left pane, click Configuration > Main Menu.
  2. Click Add New from the home page.
  3. Enter the name of the main menu in the Create Main Menu dialog box and click OK. A main menu is created successfully.

Editing Main Menu

To edit an existing main menu,

  1. Login as <<Role>>. From the Transact Standard dashboard’s left pane, click Configuration > Main Menu.
  2. Search for the main menu and make the necessary changes. Click against each main menu to provide values in all Transact supported languages.
  3. Validate and save the changes to the database.
