Working with MQ

This section shows you how to set the environment and display the status of MQ with the mqm user.

Procedure

1. Set the environment using the command below.

   /opt/mqm/bin/setmqenv -s

2. Display the status of MQ using the command below.

   dspmqver

   Name:        WebSphere MQ
   Version:     8.0.0-4
   Level:       p750-004-140807
   BuildType:   IKAP - (Production)
   Platform:    WebSphere MQ for Linux (x86-64 platform)
   Mode:        64-bit
