Multi-Database Access Driver

Direct Connect driver is a middleware component between Temenos Transact and its connecting database. It enables Temenos Transact to send data to and retrieve data from database storage, also enables you to configure and access multiple databases. This section provides the configuration, commands for multi-database access, table querying, transaction in multi-databases, driver environment variables and other important details for the Oracle, MSSQL and DB2 databases.

Oracle

The Temenos Transact Oracle Direct Connect driver is a middleware component between Temenos Transactand Oracle database. It enables Temenos Transact to send to and retrieve data from Oracle database storage. The data is stored in Oracle server as either XML columns or BLOBs (Binary Large Objects) for internal or work files. MSSQL

The Temenos Transact Microsoft SQL Server Direct Connect driver is a middleware component between Temenos Transact and MSSQL server database.
